HADO
HADO is a relatively young brand that has quickly established itself as one of the most exciting in our range. Behind HADO stands a close collaboration with selected Japanese smiths, and the result is knives that combine Japanese craft tradition with a modern, clean design expression.
The Shiosai series is one of our most popular – a knife with clean design, outstanding balance and an edge that holds. Available in SG2 powder steel with handles in a range of beautiful materials, including stabilised wood in blue and grey tones, mahogany and reddish hues. The Sumi series offers a more rustic aesthetic in aogami and shirogami steel with kurouchi finish.
HADO also offers ko-bunka and other special shapes across many of the series – making it possible to build a cohesive set with a uniform expression and the same high quality level throughout.
